The Malibu Pier is open!! While parts of Malibu recover from this year’s wildfires, the rest of Malibu is open for business. The dolphins still play, the surfers are catching waves, and spring wildflowers blanket the hillsides.
While Pacific Coast Highway remains closed to the public between Santa Monica & Eastern Malibu, there are still a number of ways to reach Malibu including via Malibu Canyon, Kanan Dume & from the west via PCH.
Additionally, the MTA 138 bus offers express service from Santa Monica in just over 30 minutes. So ditch the car and came enjoy the ocean breeze. More information at mta.net. Bus schedules are also available on your phone’s mapping apps.
