ONE PIER - TWO MALIBU FARMS

The pier has two dining options.  The casual, counter service of the Cafe at the ocean end of the pier & the full restaurant experience of the Restaurant & Bar at the gateway to the pier with beautiful dining room, bar and outdoor patios.  Both locations are operated by Malibu Farm.

MALIBU FARM

W Once upon a time, Helene Henderson arrived from Sweden and built a reputation for using FRESH, LOCAL and ORGANIC ingredients in her cooking.  A following amongst Malibu's celebrities lead to a series of "Farm Dinners" in the hills around Malibu gaining the attention of the international press. 

W In the summer of 2013, she opened her first outpost on the Pier.  It only took a few weeks before surfers were coming in for organic egg breakfasts, movie stars stood on line for kale salads and the locals came for a healthy meal with ocean breezes.   

The CAFE

In a mid-century cafe located 800 feet from shore .  Step in, order at the counter and grab a seat on the reclaimed wood picnic benches inside or sit on the deck and watch the surfers and dolphins at First Point.

The Malibu Farm Cafe serves breakfasts including Swedish pancakes, quinoa oatmeal and an outrageous egg sandwich.  Lunch is famous for healthy salads, Cauliflower flat bread and grass-fed burgers.  Fresh squeezed juices, sangria, California beers & wine and coffee provided by Caffe Luxxe are available.

the RESTAURANT & BAR

Straddling the entrance to the pier, the cozy white washed restaurant features high ceilings, a floor inspired by historic Malibu tiles and plenty of ocean views.  Next door in the original boat house, the bar serves organic cocktails & juice shots.  There is a full service espresso bar featuring CAFFE LUXXE as well as organic soft serve.  

  • Open daily lunch & dinner.
  • Open for weekend brunch.
  • Sit down service in restaurant and outside decks.
  • Full service bar featuring squeezed juice cocktails and local beers & wines.
  • Espresso bar window open from 9am serving artisanal coffee from Caffe Luxxe.
